Jerry Fedrizzi, President/Treasurer: Now retired, Jerry practiced dentistry in Eagle for 30 years and served on the Eagle Town Council 1970-1974. He is a Charter Board Member of the Western Eagle County Metro Recreation District, a founding member of the Eagle River Foundation and was a board member of the Eagle Valley Medical/Dental Center for 30 years. An avid backpacker, he has hiked the entire Colorado Trail (in the company of two cranky and sure-footed llamas) as well as the Colorado portion of the rugged Continental Trail. He is an avid birder and has been a member of the Audubon Society for the past 25 years. He and his wife, Jan, have three grown children and five grandchildren. He says his wife calls him "America's Sweetheart," but we know she has a sense of humor.

Roxie Deane, Vice President: Roxie was the first woman ever elected Mayor of Eagle and served two terms, 1996-2004, adding to her long career as one of the community's most active citizens. She also served on the Eagle Town Council 1992-1996; is currently Vice-President of the Greater Eagle Fire Dept. (1998-present); and worked as the Eagle Valley Medical Center Manager for 21 years. She also served on the Eagle Valley Medical Center Board for 18 years. Roxie continues to work in the community relations department of Valley View Hospital. She and her husband, Rich, have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.

Debbie Comerford, Moved to the Eagle Valley 36 years ago from South Florida. With degrees in business management and education, she has been active as a local volunteer and served on three accountability committees at local schools, where she also chaired Project Graduation activities for Eagle Valley High School in 2006. She was also elected to the Eagle County School District Board, where she was Vice President for three years. Debbie's wide-ranging background includes stints in ticket sales at Beaver Creek, as a bookkeeper, a florist, a construction assistant, real estate property manager, a teacher and a chauffeur. She is currently a driver and trainer for Colorado Mountain Express and also operates a small property management firm. She lives on Brush Creek near Eagle with her two dogs and a bird and spends her free time hiking, snow shoeing, traveling, birding and observing nature.

Steve Smith, Secretary: Has worked in the Eagle County Schools as an educator since 1980 and is currently the principal at Gypsum Creek Middle School. An Ohio native, he has also lived in Wisconsin and Hawaii. He and his wife of 25 years, Deb Earl, are the parents of Sage, Ethan and Wyatt, with whom they enjoy local outdoor activities in the Eagle Valley's great climate. Steve and his family enjoy Eagle's family-centered community and a wide range of terrific friends.

Jon Lengel, Moved to the valley in 1993 and for over 20 years has been a commercial, land and ranch appraiser. He was on the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 1994 through 1998, serving as President in 1997. Jon was appointed to the Eagle County Planning Commission in 1996 and 1997 and was a charter member of the Eagle Valley Rotary Club in 1998. He was the club Treasurer in 1999 and served on the Board of Directors in 2000 and 2001. Jon also was on the Colorado State University Advisory Cooperative Extension Service Advisory Council from 1997 through 2000.

Gojan (Nick) Nikolich, Has been an Eagle County resident since 1990. He and his wife, Leslie, are the owners of Eagle Valley Printing and Graphics. They formerly owned and operated the Eagle Valley Enterprise newspaper. Nick is a former Chicago area newspaper editor and for many years was a vice president with the public relations firms of Ketchum-Omnicom Communications in Chicago, where he supervised media relations for clients such as Motorola, for whom he helped introduce the world's first pocket-sized cellular phone. He very-much regrets unleashing cell phones into the world. He was once hired by Universal Pictures to publicize the film Jaws. He also worked for many years as marketing director for the Illinois Office of Tourism. Nick graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with B.A. and M.A. degrees in English literature. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army, where he served as a reporter for Stars & Stripes Newspaper in Korea and Tokyo. He and his wife Leslie have been married for 35 years. They recently became grandparents for the first time.

Mary Hoza, Mary is a retired registered pediatric nurse who remains active in local home health care. She and her husband, pharmacist Al Hoza, formerly owned the Eagle Pharmacy. In 1989 Mary was named Eagle County Citizen of the Year in recognition for her many accomplishments, which include being a charter board member of the Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District; being honored in 1977-78 by the Colorado Nurses' Association as Nurse of the Year; helping to plan the area's first senior citizen housing complex and being recognized by the Eagle County Commissioners for her efforts to establish local 911 emergency phone service. Whether it's volunteering on the Glenwood Canyon Citizens’ Advisory Committee or working to establish hospice in the valley, Mary has been one of the Eagle Valley's true civic treasures. Her experience, knowledge and energy are perfectly attuned to the goals of the Eagle River Foundation.

Shirley Shelton, Secretary: Life-long resident of Eagle County; member of the Eagle Clinic Board for 30 years; served as School Board Secretary and Town Clerk of Eagle.
